The Arkansas Vegan team has been tuned in to UK-based VeggieVision for months now and are happy to hear that they're receiving a lot of press in Europe; we think it's about time people here tuned in too! Biodiesel For Sale In Little Rock
Great alternative fuels news: Arkansas Business reports that the Shell Superstop at 12524 Chenal Parkway.is selling biodiesel at the pumps, too. To our knowledge that Shell station is the first place in town making biodiesel available for passenger vehicles. The full story... |

Update: still waiting to see this on store shelves. Haven't had reports of this product in Arkansas or in neighboring states yet; we'll keep you posted... Cue heavenly choir: your favorite frozen pizza and your favorite faux cheese are finally coming together in one product! Veg News reports that Amy's Kitchen has partnered with Follow Your Heart to produce a spinach pizza with rice flour crust and Vegan Gourmet "cheese" topping. Carol of Amy's Kitchen Customer Relations has confirmed for Arkansas Vegan that "The Rice Crust Spinach Pizza... should be in your local grocery stores by mid August! CNN and more than twenty five other sources around the world have quoted a study the found "people who ate a low-fat vegan diet, cutting out all meat and dairy, lowered their blood sugar more and lost more weight than people on a standard American Diabetes Association diet."
